APPLICATION REQUESTING MODIFICATION OF ASSENT BEFORE THE COUNCIL:

2016-09-012 W. H. PROPERTIES -- Maintain an as-built boating facility consisting of a 3’ x 12’ wooden ramp and two 5’x 20’ floats. The facility extends 47’ beyond mean low water to a depth of approximately 7 feet. The boating facility is associated with a commercial property (Bridge Restaurant and Bar). Located at plat 56, lot 10; 37 Main Street, Westerly, RI.

2000-04-008 JOHN ELIASON – Modification to use larger cages to grow oysters on 2.7 acre aquaculture lease in Narragansett Bay off Caddy Avenue in Warwick, RI.

APPLICATIONS WHICH HAVE BEEN OUT-TO-NOTICE AND ARE BEFORE THE FULL COUNCIL FOR DECISION:

2017-07-073 RI DEPT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT -- Construct improvements and make operational modifications to the waterfront piers and marine facilities at Fort Adams State Park to consist of the following items:

  1. Install a 7.5’ x 13’ timber pier extension over the revetment at the entrance to the North Alofsin Pier;
  2. Install a 13’ x 150’ concrete float system on the north side of the North Alofsin Pier having a 10’ x 100’ timber finger pier float and two (2) 6’ x 60’ timber finger pier floats;
  3. Install two (2) 7.5’ x 34’ concrete floats on the eastern terminus of the North Alofsin Pier;
  4. Construct a 6’ x 8’ pile supported landing to be located on the north side of the North Alofsin Pier to support a 4’ x 60’ handicap accessible aluminum gangway to access the proposed float system;
  5. Modify the structural perimeter limit last approved by CRMC Assent 2013-05-221 to accommodate the proposed facilities.

Project is located at plat 47, lot 2; Fort Adams State Park, Newport, RI.
