Invasive Plant Management Certification Program

About the Training:
The Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC) Invasive Plant Management Certification Program trains green industry and environmental consulting professionals, land trust managers and volunteers working in the coastal zone to provide sustainable invasive plant management services to clients, and to facilitate restoration of degraded coastal habitats.
Beginning in 2012, those interested in attending the training for education purposes will be able to register for a reduced fee of $150.
Registration:
$150 [without CRMC certification] or $200 [with CRMC certification] includes breakfast and lunch both days, training materials, certification card [if applicable] and online listing [if applicable].

RI Residential Rain Garden Training Program

About the Training:
The RI Residential Rain Garden Training Program provides professionals, volunteers, municipal officials and government agency staff introductory information on residential-scale rain garden implementation to reduce stormwater runoff. The training includes a classroom session and hands-on field experience building a public residential-scale rain garden.
Registration:
$100 includes breakfast and lunch, training materials and Certificate of Completion.
