The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is featuring CRMC Executive Director Grover Fugate and Rhode Island Sea Grant’s Pam Rubinoff in its new Climate Magazine, online now at https://www.climate.gov/news-features. Fugate and Rubinoff spoke to NOAA’s Hanna Goss about Rhode Island’s sea level rise efforts, including the Metro Bay Special Area Management Plan (SAMP) and its sea level rise regulations, Section 145 of the RICRMP: Climate Change and Sea Level Rise. The Council adopted these regulations in early 2008.
