Coastal Awareness Activity Book and Teacher's Guide
After more than 25 years of use in Rhode Island classrooms, a new and updated edition of Down Where the Water Is: A Coastal Awareness Activity Book and associated comprehensive Teacher's Guide has been produced by the University of Rhode Island's Office of Marine Programs. Designed for use in grades K-3, the Activity Book and Teacher's Guide are available free from the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council. Please contact us for more information. Rhode Island Sea Grant College Program
The Rhode Island Sea Grant College Program conducts research and outreach on important marine issues. Outreach topics include coastal management and fisheries, aquaculture, and seafood safety. Rhode Island Sea Grant is home to the Sea Grant Ecosystems & Habitats Theme Team and is one of 30 federal-state partnerships that make up the NOAA National Sea Grant College Program.
