Revolution Wind

Revolution Wind is a planned 880-megawatt offshore wind farm with up to 100 offshore wind turbines that will serve Rhode Island (400 MW) and Connecticut (304 MW).

The wind farm will be located over 15 miles south of the Rhode Island coast in the former Deepwater Wind's federal lease area (OCS-A 0486), located roughly midway between Block Island, R.I., and Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.

Once permits are in-hand, local construction work on Revolution Wind would begin as early as 2022, with the project commissioning in 2023.
