MEETING MINUTES

Topic: Intrastate shellfish transport

• All intrastate shellfish seed transport should be notified to CRMC Aquaculture Coordinator
• Use zone map draft 2/25/2011 with requested refinements
• Continue to allow movement of shellfish from zones of low disease incidence to zones of higher disease incidence
• Continue Sentinel survey with 8 to 10 zones
• Secure funding for continued sentinel survey
• Intrastate shellfish pathology report terms: pathology report 1 acceptable from January to May 31; subsequent seed transport needs pathology report within 60 of transport from the date of sample collection (until November 15)
• Develop shellfish restoration permit (DEM and CRMC joint effort)
